Untreated stone or concrete looks like a hard substance, but actually it is like a hard sponge which easily absorbs urine through its many small openings. This means urine can easily soak deep into the stone or concrete, making the odour-removal process more difficult. For best results, follow the steps below.
Do not use any other (chemical) cleaning agents or masking agents!
Treatment:
Make sure the floor is thoroughly dry. If any glue residue from carpets is still present on the floor, remove it first. First of all, wipe the surface clean and free of dust. Generously spray (saturate) the UF2000 on the urine spot using the trigger spray bottle or a low-pressure atomiser (plant sprayer or pesticide sprayer). Ensure that at least as much UF2000 is applied as is reasonably contained in urine.
Cover the place with plastic for 1 to 2 hours to prevent too rapid evaporation, and to ensure that the UF2000 can penetrate well into the concrete on stone. Keep in mind that when first treating an old urine stain with UF2000, you might find that the urine odour intensifies at first. This indicates that the urine is quietly dissolving and coming to the surface.
Remove the plastic and and dry the area. Apply UF2000 again. Allow the spot to dry thoroughly for 1 to 2 hours (depending on the temperature, this may be shorter or longer). Apply UF2000 every 1-2 hours (drying time) until the urine odour is completely removed. After the urine odour and stain are removed, remove the residue using a little water and dab it up with a (kitchen) paper or dry cloth.
